The Sacramento Valley Shetland Sheepdog Club holds monthly meetings and publishes a newsletter to inform members of upcoming events, changes in meeting locations and times, and with information about Shelties, canine health, and training issues. Any articles obtained from other sources are reprinted with acknowledgement of the original author and may not be duplicated. Claims and statements made in ads or articles are not necessarily shared or endorsed by the SVSSC, it's members, or the editor of the newsletter. Monthly meetings are currently being held at avarious locations, until a new, long-term location is found. Meetings are usually held the 4th Thursday of the month (unless otherwise noted in the newsletter). The Board meeting starts at 7:00 pm and the regular meeting starts at 7:30 pm.
